Write to me as soon as you get England.

Write to me as soon as you get to England.

    We just got to here.

    We just got here.

We should get down to solve the problems.

We should get down to the problems.

When I arrived in Beijing,I got down to learn the English language.

When I arrived in Beijing,I got down to learning the English language.

We hope to get a few more orders next week.

We hope to receive a few more orders next week.

He can always rely on his wife to get him out from debt.

He can always rely on his wife to get him out of debt.

    get...out of 表示“使…

We will be getting out of the train in ten minutes.

We will be getting off the train in ten minutes.

和get off...。“上下小汽车,出租车或小船”,英文是get in (to)...和get out of...。

    Have you prepared supper ready?

    Have you got supper ready?

I must prepare everything ready before the party.

When I was awaked by a strange noise,I got down from bed in a hurry.

When I was awaked by a strange noise,I got out of bed in a hurry.

    “起床”或“下床”在英语中表示为get up或get out of,而不说get down from。

Our factory will get in ten new workers.

Our factory will take in〔enroll〕 ten new workers.

In this case, how can you expect to get everyone moving?

He got a splendid present to her.
