Career Planning
Career Planning plays a significant role in designing the blueprint in the future. As the proverb goes, “Opportunity is always for the prepared person in the world.” Therefore a well-prepared career planning is essential to achieve success in the future career. Every person has his defects sides. Career planning helps to obtain an objective analysis and expectation for each person. Career Planning helps people to determine their vocational directions and goals based on self-insight and to establishing corresponding plans for their vocational career. It provides an effective way to achieve the vocational success for people and to enhance the employ ability and competitiveness of people in the fiercely competitive society.
At present, lacking career design and implicit life goals caused my career bewilderment. Career planning is an important step to achieve occupational goals and I will start making career planning. First, as English major, I should master the basic knowledge in which I specialize and accumulate work experience of internship related to my major, thus laying the foundation of my career. Second, assess myself. Self-assessment helps me to choose the right career which will be most applicable to my personality, needs, interests, skills, abilities because all career decisions require self-understanding. Third, explore my career options I am interested. I should explore the jobs match myself based on the prospecting opportunities. Last but not the least, set short-term and long-term career goals. It is a good way for personal development to devise a strategy to get the job and reach to the top. In other words, I should define my career planning, and knows how to accomplish my plan, and knows when I make adjustment.
Career planning has a profound influence on people’s vocation in the future. It does not come into being easily. I will spare no efforts to carry out my career planning and I believe I will succeed in my prospective career.
