How should parents help children to be independent?
This is a thought-provoking social phenomenon that parents monopolize their children’s everything. From going to university, selecting majors to hunting for a job, parents make every crucial decision for their sons and daughters.
No doubt, what the parents do leads to a most serious problem—children are badly dependent on parental help. Every morning the children wake up, but they don’t know what they should do and how they could do. They lose the ability to take care of themselves, and in turn, lose the opportunity to succeed.
Stop! Please. Don’t keep on spoiling the children anymore, because they need independence. These are some suggestions for parents. Firstly, parents should create an independent climate for their children. Secondly, parents should try to help children maintain their independence. Finally, parents should always believe that their children have the ability to make their own decisions in their lives.
Helping children towards independence will always be our businesses.

How should parents help children to be independent?
Nowadays, more and more parents indulge their children too much, showing too much love to them. The parents get used to make an arrangement of everything for their children. As result, many adult children will not deal with things by themselves but depend on their parents strongly.
How should parents help children to be independent? On the one hand,
parents should try to tell the children the importance of independence at an early age. If the children have no awareness early, how can we expect them to achieve independence later. On the other hand, let the children always have a try by themselves before asking for help. Let them know that independent thinking is an absolute necessity in their life.
Helping children towards independence will always be our businesses.
How should parents help children to be independent ?
Nowadays, the number of single-child family is increasingly growing under the Family Policy. It’s not surpring that the child, viewed as the apple of the parents’ eye, get so much attention that there is a lack of independence in the life. While the parents are eager to make a fuss over their child, they must be aware that it is their too much love that make the children’s inability to comfront the difficulties from the life.
It is necessary for parents to provide love for their child in a right way. First, they are supposed not to pray for an easy life for their child. Children should be exposed to the real world, and with parents’ help they will make it clear that life is filled with ups and downs. Second, parents do as a leader to give children a right direction and other things are left to children. Last but not least, parents’ approval of right decision from children and encouragement
to children when they fail is the strength of the growth for children. Sharing children’s success with them and helping them when necessary is more vital than too much love.
If parents can act as they realize the importance of helping their children as independent as much , they will find a real short- cut to a happy life for their children.
